New World is an Open-World MMORPG with a massive dynamic open world. In 2023 I joined its Seasons team to design seasonal dungeons and events, and started designing Open World for the World team later. Most recently I shipped the Console update with revamped Main Story instanced trials and open-world POIs.

Designed a recurring C2C event aiming to boost open-world participation between season launches. Discover interdimensional protals in the wild and catch the escaping Rafflebones before he self-destructs. Rewards the player for teaming up and exploring the open world with materials to catch up with the upcoming expansion.
Nightveil Hallow: Trick or Treat

Designed the Trick or Treat experience in the annual Halloween-themed celebration, a chaotic twist on traidtional treasure hunting: After putting on a costume, players will find rewards from treat baskets hidden in all settlements, such as candies that turns you into a fish, or potions that either aid or kill you. Designed with a focus on the casual, social player base.
